Cornucopia Local (“Cornucopia,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Cornucopia marketplace at cornucopialocal.com and related apps. We connect local producers with buyers for fresh produce and homemade goods.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Cornucopia, you agree to this policy.

We collect information you provide directly, information generated when you use the platform, and information from service providers that help us operate the marketplace.

• Account details such as name, email address, phone number, profile photo, and password credentials.
• Buyer and producer profile information, including farm or stand details, delivery zones, product listings, and public profile content.
• Order, cart, and payment-related information needed to complete purchases. Payment card data is processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
• Location information you share (for example, to find nearby market stands) and approximate location derived from IP when needed for security or localization.
• Device and usage data such as browser type, pages viewed, referring URLs, and interaction events, including analytics tools we use to improve the product.
• Communications you send us through contact forms, email, or in-app support.

We use personal information to operate, secure, and improve Cornucopia, and to support buyers and producers on the platform.

• Create and manage accounts, authenticate users, and personalize your experience.
• Process orders, payments, refunds, and payouts through Stripe and related services.
• Show relevant market stands, products, and delivery options near you.
• Send transactional messages (order updates, account notices) and, where permitted, product or platform updates.
• Detect fraud, abuse, and security incidents, and enforce our Terms of Service.
• Analyze usage to improve features, reliability, and customer support.
• Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to run the marketplace or as required by law.

• With other users as needed for a transaction (for example, order details shared between a buyer and a producer).
• With service providers such as hosting, email, analytics, maps, and payment processors (including Stripe) who process data on our behalf under contractual safeguards.
• With authorities when required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Cornucopia, our users, or the public.
• In connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to appropriate confidentiality and notice where required.

Producer profiles, market stands, product listings, and some account display settings may be publicly visible. You control certain privacy preferences in account settings (for example, whether to show email or phone on a public profile). Do not post sensitive personal information in public listings.

We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure performance, and understand how the product is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may limit functionality.
